3D Design - 1

The start of the process of the 3D design of the pieces. Such as the cradle and rudder.

Today, I have made the rudder 3D design and printed the piece along the way to test the dimension. Some adjustment for the holes had to be done, but the other dimensions were correct. So the rudder is done. I've also started working on the cradle for the motors, redesigning them to supports screws. It's in the goal of being able of easily assembling the whole mechanism. The cradle at the time of writing this log is not done just yet. There's is still some details I need to work on like the fixation of it to the base for the hand. There's also the cap for the cradles and the screw holes that will be aligned directly with the motors. But, they can be screwed in place together now. For the material needed to screw them, I already have the necessary brass insert and screws for the prototype. An other detail I need to look over is passing the wires of the motors in an efficient way trough the cradle without being an hurdle to the whole mechanism.
